All rides start in Mt. Vernon, Illinois where
Interstate Highways 57 and 64 cross. Walgreens Distribution
Center, 5100 Lake Terrace Northeast, is the start and finish of all four
rides.
There
are numerous hotels in the immediate area if you want to stay
overnight. Local attractions include the Mitchel Art Museum, the
Jefferson County Historical Museum, Genkota Winery, and the Times Square
Mall Shopping Center. Restaurants are plentiful and offer a
wide range of food and beverage. Rend Lake has fishing,
boating, and sightseeing as well. Why not make a weekend of it in
beautiful Southern Illinois.
